What's new in Zippy Courses version 1.0
Zippy Courses version 1.0 is the biggest update we’ve ever made to Zippy Courses, and includes a lot of changes, updates, and enhancements to explore.
Updating to version 1.0
You can update to version 1.0 of Zippy Courses right away. Simply go to the Plugins menu in your WordPress installation to install the latest version, or visit http://zippycoursesplugin.com/account to download the latest version of the Zippy Courses plugin and theme.
Once you have installed version 1.0 of Zippy Courses, you will see a warning that you need to update your Zippy Courses Database in order to use the new plugin version. This update must be completed immediately in order for the plugin to work properly.
To complete the upgrade, click on the Upgrade Database button. Then, on the next page, click the Start the Upgrade button. Depending on the size of your site and your web hosting setup, this upgrade can take a few seconds to several minutes.
Once that update is done, you should be able to view all of your courses, units, lessons, students, and other Zippy Courses records. If you’re using a Zippy Courses theme, make sure to update your theme to the latest version at this time as well.
Once you have made those upgrades, check through your site and see what’s new and updated. If any content appears to be missing, or you see any new error messages, contact our support team at support@zippycourses.com, and our team can help troubleshoot any issues.

Here are some great features to take advantage of in Zippy Courses version 1.0:
Products: A new way to sell your courses
Before version 1.0, Zippy Courses used Pricing Options and Bundles to sell your courses. These worked well, but we thought we could do better in version 1.0. Now, both of these features have been combined into the Products feature. All of your pricing options and bundles have been moved into the Products menu, so you don’t have to make any changes to take advantage of this update.

Duplicate Course Content
Traditionally, you might have to copy/paste all of your course content into a new course in order to re-use content, but Zippy Courses 1.0 gives you some special tools to make this transition easy. On your Units and Lessons page, click the Add Existing Content button to get started.

Dual Payment Integration
Want to let your students purchase with both credit cards and with Paypal? Now you can! Zippy Courses now supports including both Stripe and Paypal in the same order form. Simply enter your payment information for both Paypal and Stripe. Then, under your Stripe Payment Settings, set Use Paypal? to Yes.
Now, all of your product pages will include both a credit card form and a Paypal payment option.
Advanced Scheduling Tools
Zippy Courses 1.0 gives you even more control over how you schedule your course content. Now you can schedule your course’s drip by unit, set specific lessons to be released immediately, and allow specific Products to override your drip.
To see the new scheduling options at your disposal, click on the Units and Lessons tab of your course editor.
